Community Involvement

Each year, the BC SPCA Prince George Spay/Neuter Clinic hosts an annual “Feral Cat Day” to increase awareness about the plight of feral cats and engage the community is our efforts to improve their welfare. Caregivers for these wild cats trap and transport them to the clinic, where they are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, treated for external parasites and given permanent ID, all at no cost. The cats are then released back into their colonies where they will be taken care of by their caregivers for the rest of their lives.

To find out how you can help support our community efforts such as Feral Cat Day and other events, please don’t hesitate to contact us – programs like this are only made possible through the generous support of our donors.
