Cancellation & Missed Appointment Policy
We schedule our appointments so that each patient receives the right amount of time to be seen by our veterinarians and staff. That’s why it’s very important that you keep your scheduled appointment with us and arrive on time.
As a courtesy, we will call you with a reminder the day before any scheduled appointment, at the main number listed on your account.
If your schedule changes and you are unable to keep an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can reschedule and offer the spot to another patient. Out of respect to our staff and other clients, we ask for at least 24 hours’ business notice when cancelling an appointment (please note that weekends and stat holidays do not count as business hours).
If you miss a scheduled appointment, or cancel/reschedule with less than 24 business hours notice, your account will be charged a cancellation fee. This fee must be paid prior to booking your next appointment.
The cancellation fees are as follows:
- Cat surgery appointment $50
- Dog surgery appointment $75
- Vaccine appointment $35
After two cancellation fees are charged to your account, you will be required to prepay the full cost of future appointments as a deposit. This deposit amount will be fully forfeit if the appointment is missed or you cancel with insufficient notice.
After three consecutive short-notice cancellations or missed appointments, our practice may decide to terminate its relationship with you.
