New Bookings & Eligibility Criteria

At this time, the clinic is not accepting requests for spay/neuter appointments, or for pre-surgical exams for new patients. The next anticipated booking window is expected to open on October 24th to schedule appointments for December. There is no wait list at this time and appointments that are missed or cancelled will not be re-booked. Vaccine appointments are still available for existing and select new patients but wait times are extended – see our eligibility page for more information. Thank you for your understanding.

When bookings do reopen, all of the information and eligibility requirements below will still apply.

In addition, please note the following important information:

  • All requests for spay/neuter appointments must be made through the “Book an Appointment” feature on the main page of our website
  • We will not be accepting booking requests by phone or in-person.
  • Appointments will be booked on a first come first served basis until we reach capacity, at which time new bookings will close again.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment and we are booked to capacity, you will need to wait until new requests are being accepted again to re-book.
  • There is no cancellation or wait list for surgical appointments.
  • Please note our Cancellation Policy

We thank you for your patience and understanding. Please note that the clinic has a zero tolerance policy for abusive language and behavior towards our staff, including via email. Rude and/or abusive correspondence in any form will be grounds for immediate termination.

Eligibility Criteria – Surgery

The current eligibility requirements for surgery bookings are as follows:

Dog Spays & Neuters

  • Must be under 2 years of age at the time of surgery
  • Current patients must have been seen at the clinic within the last 12 months*
  • New patients must request an appointment for a pre-surgical examination or a vaccine appointment before the dog is 1 ½ years old
  • The pre-surgical exam will be performed by our veterinarian to determine if your pet is eligible for surgery at the clinic. There are many factors that may result in us declining to perform a spay or neuter on your pet – in this case we will recommend that you see a full service clinic for the procedure.

*Please note that puppies brought in to the clinic by their breeder for first exam and vaccinations are not eligible for surgery until they have been brought in for follow up vaccinations and/or a pre-surgical exam with their new owner to establish a valid Veterinary-Client-Patient-Relationship (VCPR)

Cat Spays and Neuters

  • Must be under 5 years of age at the time of surgery
  • Can be current or new patients
  • A pre-surgical exam or prior vaccinations are not required to book for surgery

Eligibility Criteria – Vaccinations

The current eligibility requirements for vaccination appointment bookings are as follows:

Current Patients

  • Can be booked as normal
  • Wait times are often extended (2-3 months)
  • Please note that we do not offer any services outside of vaccines & routine de-worming – our vet will recommend that you see a full service clinic if you have any major concerns about your pet

New Patients

  • Must be under 2 years of age, if not needing spay/neuter
  • Must must be under 1 ½ years of age, if needing spay/neuter
  • Wait times are often extended (2-3 months)
  • Please note that we do not offer any services outside of vaccines & routine de-worming – our vet will recommend that you see a full service clinic if you have any major concerns about your pet

Breeder Appointments

  • At this time we are not accepting new breeder clients with litters of puppies or kittens to be vaccinated
  • Existing breeders may submit requests for litters, however there is no availability in October
  • Please submit your request as soon as possible after a litter is born to increase the chance that your needed date/time is available
