Cancellation & Missed Appointment Policy
We schedule our appointments so that each patient receives the right amount of time to be seen by our veterinarians and staff. That’s why it’s very important that you keep your scheduled appointment with us and arrive on time.
As a courtesy, we will call you with a reminder the day before any scheduled appointment, at the main number listed on your account.
If your schedule changes and you are unable to keep an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible so we can reschedule and offer the spot to another patient. Out of respect to our staff and other clients, we need at least 24 business hours’ notice when cancelling an appointment (please note that weekends and stat holidays do not count as business hours).
If you miss a scheduled appointment, or cancel/reschedule with less than 24 business hours’ notice your account will be charged a cancellation fee. This fee must be paid prior to booking your next appointment.
The cancellation fees for surgery are as follows:
-
- Dogs $150
- Cats $75
This fee will be paid automatically from the deposit you paid in advance of your pets surgery, and a new deposit will be due prior to the appointment being rescheduled. If the deposit paid does not cover the full cancellation fee, will we contact you to pay the remainder.
The cancellation fee vaccine appointments are as follows:
-
- Dogs & Cats $50
This fee will need to be paid prior to the appointment being rescheduled or any other future services.
Breeder appointments for litters of puppies or kittens are a special case and have a separate cancellation policy. Once your appointment is confirmed for a specific number or animals, we need at least 5 business days’ notice to cancel any of the spots being held. After this time, a $45 fee will be charge for each puppy or kitten that does not show up for the appointment.
If cancellation fees are charged to your account more than once, you may be required to pay the full cost of any future appointments in advance as a non-refundable deposit, and after three cancellations or missed appointments, our practice may decide to terminate its relationship with you.
